Theological Education with Youth Summer 2011 Programs

Applications are now open for Theological Education with Youth's (TEY) two summer programs:

The Crossroads Event (June 26 – July 2, 2011) will be held at Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. This event for youth now in the 9th or 10th grade spends a week exploring advocacy and social justice ministries of the church, asking the question "What is God up to in the world?" Alongside seminarians and other leaders in the church, youth will spend a week exploring their calling to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.

The Summer Theological Academy (July 23 – August 6, 2011) will be held at Gettysburg Seminary. This event for youth now in the 10th or 11th grade spends two weeks in a worshiping and learning community diving deep into the waters of theology with seminarian mentors and courses offered by seminary faculty. This summer's Academy will include courses on environmental theology, interfaith dialogue, and others. This experience also includes opportunities for service, taking the learning into the world.

The application process starts online at www.theologicaleducationwithyouth.com.
