Oktoberfest for Lutheran Disaster Response – Eastern Pennsylvania supports response and recovery efforts preparing for and after events like Hurricane Irene. Oktoberfest, on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 2-6 p.m., is a family-friendly German themed event sponsored by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Glenside and is the most important LDR-Eastern PA fundraising event of the year.

Tickets: $20, ages 21+ includes food and beverage, through Sept 26, $25 after Sept 26 and at the door. $2 for ages 1-20, includes food plate
Additional drinks, desert and food for purchase at the event.

Volunteer or Contribute: To make this event successful, we also need of volunteers and silent auction contributions.
Silent Auction Contributions: Contributions can include services, tickets, items of $50 value or greater, and gifts baskets. To make a contribution or for more information, contact Linda Erat ( or 215-887-9383). Please provide an estimated value of the donation as well as a one or two sentence description. Donations should be received by Sept 25, 2011.
Volunteers are needed for serving food and drinks, set-up and clean up, taking tickets, etc. Contact Julia Menzo ( or 215-424-3741 ext. 203) to volunteer.
