Join First Suburbs Project in effecting regional change
Last December, the SEPA First Suburbs Project held a summit of 345 regional leaders at Bryn Mawr College. The goal was to harness their collective power to influence positive change in their communities, to restore prosperity to the region, and to increase competitiveness in the Commonwealth. Since the summit, four priority issues have been identified: infrastructure, housing, education finance and social services. Leaders from across the region will meet again on Saturday, May 31 at the SEPA First Suburbs Issues Convention (9:30 a.m. to noon at Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote) to set a prioritized agenda for action. Interested church leaders are invited to attend.
