Health and Savings: 2 for All

How would you like to enhance your health
and save your congregation money?
This year the ELCA Board of Pensions has two ways for you to live better and save. We’re calling it 2 for All… 2 ways to take healthy steps, 2 ways to earn wellness dollars, and a 2% discount for our congregations:
Take the Mayo Clinic Health Assessment by April 30 and get a $150 personal wellness account credit and help our congregations earn a 2% discount on health costs.
Earn more personal wellness dollars by completing the GO! Challenge, a four week program to help you eat, live and work healthier.
Last year, 47.5% of eligible plan members and spouses in SEPA completed the health assessment by the deadline.
Update!
Progress as of January 31 for SEPA Synod:

The free and confidential Mayo Clinic Health Assessment takes less than 30 minutes and helps you develop an action plan to maintain or improve your health.
- Both you and your spouse can earn a $150 personal wellness account credit by taking the assessment.
- If 65% of eligible plan members and spouses in the Synod take the assessment by April 30, every congregation in the Synod will earn a 2% discount on health care premiums for all of 2011.

The GO! Challenge is a wellness learning tool, founded on the Wholeness Wheel and supportive of whole-person health. As a participant, you'll:
- Take stock of your current healthy activities.
- Identify one or two "stretch" activities you'd like to work on.
- Track your activity for four weeks.
- Consider which new behavior you'll continue.
