Forum on homelessness in suburbia
The Well, a church in Feasterville, is sponsoring a Forum on Homelessness in Suburbia on Thursday, July 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. You are invited to a night of networking and learning about this unique and often invisible issue, which is real and growing in the Philadelphia suburbs.
After a time of networking and sharing resources, a panel of community leaders including Bucks County Commissioner Diane Marseglia, Donna McHugh of the Bucks County Housing Group, and Red Cross Director of Homeless Shelters Bill Burns will teach and lead a forum on how we can better address this growing problem. Agencies, churches, and individuals are invited to bring resources, ideas, and information about what they do, so that as a community, we can be better coordinated in our efforts to help those in homelessness.
The Well is located at 1631 Loretta Ave., Feasterville, PA 19053 (view map). A suggested donation of $5 will support Bucks County Food Banks. (No registration is required; the event is open to the public.)
