For Pastors: Re-thinking Parish Ministry
From Maintenance to Mission with Dr. Rolf Jacobson
Dr. Rolf Jacobson, associate professor of Old Testament at Luther Seminary, will be the presenter at the first Bishop William A. Janson, Jr. Memorial Seminar on Friday, March 25, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church in Ambler. Dr. Jacobson, keynote speaker and workshop presenter at the 2010 Synod Assembly, will focus on the topic “Re-thinking Parish Ministry: From Maintenance to Mission.” The event is designed as a Parish Practicum for Pastors with topics that include: Rethinking Congregation Mission and Practice; Worship as Formation: Evangelical Practices for Lutherans; and Developing Biblical Fluency.
Rostered leaders may register by completing the registration form and sending a check for $20 payable to “RELC – Pastor’s Seminar” and mailing it to RELC – Pastor’s Seminar, 102 W. Rose Tree Rd., Media, PA 19063. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
