During the Thanksgiving holiday many have feasted. Many more have gone hungry. A global food crisis has pushed many from living with food insecurity, to living with daily hunger.   In addition to direct food aid, Lutheran World Relief is committed to caring for the hungry by equipping them to feed themselves. That is what the “Fill the Bowl” campaign is all about.
 
Join Lutherans from around the globe as we seek to raise $500,000 to support successful food growing programs.  These programs will nourish individuals and families, giving them the ability to weather the difficult food situation and improve their livelihoods, ensuring access to education and health care.
