ELCA, Constant Contact team to offer you email options

The ELCA has partnered with Constant Contact, the provider the Synod has used for SEPANews email alerts since 2007, to provide you with an easy way to create professional looking and effective email communications for your congregation.

+ What is Constant Contact?  Constant Contact is a leader in the e-mail delivery services industry. High quality e-communication is vitally important for effective communication with ELCA members.  Because of their size, Constant Contact is able to improve the deliverability of your messages, and offer an easy-to-use system with great training, rich feature set and competitive pricing, with up to a 30% discount for non-profit organizations that pay on an annual basis.

+ What is the ELCA partner program?  The ELCA Constant Contact Partner program is part of the ELCAdvantage Program, where the ELCA churchwide organization enters into business partner relationships with vendors for the benefit of ELCA members, congregations and other institutions.

+ What are the benefits of signing up for Constant Contact under the ELCA program?
   a. Access to an easy-to-use e-newsletter template featuring the ELCA brand mark.  The template design is intended to complement the look and feel of ELCA.org, helping to strengthen our visual identity as one church.
   b. Automatic access to fresh content you can incorporate in your e-publications (e.g. Prayer Ventures, ELCA News Headlines, Stories of Faith in Action, etc.) (we hope to offer this feature in 2009)
   c. Enrollment in the ELCA provides modest revenue sharing that helps support our ability to provide the ELCA custom templates and content feeds described above.

+ How do I sign up?   Go to the ELCA website to sign up for a free 60-day trial.  At that address you'll also find more information about Constant Contact features and pricing.  If you are already a Constant Contact customer and would like to switch to the ELCA plan, go to www.elca.org/constantcontact to complete a form.

If you have questions about the program, contact Paul Edison-Swift or call 800.638.3522 x2946.
