Beef & Root Beer Benefit Fundraiser for the MacPhersons
You can help support Tom and Sue MacPherson, missionaries to Tanzania, by attending a Beef and Root Beer fundraiser at Gloria Dei, Huntingdon Valley, on Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 pm. Or click below to use our new online donation system.
The MacPhersons, members of St. John, Mayfair, say their lives were changed forever by a 2008 trip to Tanzania, and by the depth of the Tanzanian's love for God. They are joyfully going to Tanzania this fall, to teach English and general bookkeeping to the health care workers of the Irente Children's Home. However, they go as "self-funded" mission personnel. The will need to raise the service-related expenses for their two year stay. These expenses include, but are not limited to, food, water, electricity, gasoline and propane.
The Northeast Conference is assisting the MacPhersons with this effort and would like to invite you participate in a special fundraising event.
