The Deadline for Nominations for the 2012 Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod Assembly has been extended to February 29, 2012.  The Nominations Committe is seeking Nominations for the following positions:

 13th Churchwide Assembly(16)

• Four lay female voting members
• One lay female youth voting member
• Four lay male voting members one lay male young adult voting member
• Six clergy voting members.

 Synod Council

• Three clergy for terms ending 2015 
• One lay male at large for a term ending 2015 
• One lay female at large for a term ending 2015
• One lay female youth and young adult representatives for a term ending 2014

(A youth is defined as “a voting member of a congregation who has not reached the age of 18 at the time of election or appointment for service.”)

• One lay male representative from the Central Philadelphia Conference for a term ending 2015
• One lay female representative from the Northwest Philadelphia/Olney Conference for a term ending 2015
• One lay female representative from the Upper Bucks Conference for a term ending 2015
• One lay female representative from the Lower Montgomery Conference for a term ending 2014
• One lay male representative from the Upper Montgomery Conference for a term ending 2013
• One lay female representative (lay) from the Delaware Conference for a term ending 2013

The conferences specified are initially responsible for supplying two nominees for their respective conference representative positions.

• Two clergy for terms ending 2018
• One lay woman for a term ending 2018
• One lay man for a term ending 2018
