Register Now for 2012 Assembly
The 2012 Synod Assembly is more than just a business meeting. The May 4-5 Assembly is a time when we are Church together, gathering to express our unity in Christ, to worship and pray together, to learn about the mission and ministry happening at the Synod and Churchwide levels, and to be inspired for the mission of our congregations. We will have lively worship, time to greet old friends and meet new ones, and make important decisions about our path into the future. There are just a few days left to save on registration for the 2012 Synod Assembly. Early-bird discounted rates expire March 14.

Synod Assembly Reports Online
The Bishop's report, the proposed 2012 budget, statistical reports and other materials related to the 2011 Synod Assembly -- The Once & Future Church -- are now online at the Assembly webpage, www.ministrylink.org/2011. Also online is a resolution on energy stewardship that will come before the Assembly, which meets May 6-7 at Franconia Mennonite Church.
Assembly explores 'Once and Future Church'
“The Once and Future Church” is the theme of the 2011 Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod Assembly May 6-7. Assembly participants will explore the challenges and opportunities our congregations will face in the future shaped by the growing population of adults aged 20 to 40. We will be guided and encouraged to find ways to engage this “Millennial” generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Faith Summit on HIV/AIDS June 9
As part of AIDS Education Month in June, a Faith Leaders and Community Summit will be held Saturday, June 9. The goal of the summit is to actively involve the faith community in the fight against HIV. The event runs 9 am to 2 pm at the DoubleTree Hotel, 237 S. Broad St., Philadelphia.
Uniting Six Generations in Church Webinar
Church leadership in the 21st century is a complicated matter – made more complex by the presence of six generational cohorts, or segments. Author and consultant Carroll Sheppard will share some of the insights and perspectives from her book, Congregational Connections: Uniting Six Generations in the Church, during a webinar, Sunday June 10, 2012, from 2:30 to 4 pm.
